From January 2000 through June 2001 on TNN, Lucky Vanous portrayed
Michael Cates, a Justice Department agent, who was on assignment to
infiltrate the organization of a deadly and vicious crime boss. In
order to avoid hitmen, Cates assumed the persona of Chance Bowman, a
trucker. G. Gordon Liddy and Lisa Thornhill co-starred as Jacob Calder & Cie Baxter through the 44 episode run
of the action thriller. |

From September 1979 through May 1981 on NBC, Greg Evigan starred as B.J. (Billie Joe)
McCay who travelled with his pet chimp Bear in this comedy adventure series. B.J.
and the Bear confronted adversaries including Sheriff Elroy P. Lobo & Deputy Perkins
portrayed by Claude Akins & Mills Watson respectively. In 1981, Candi Brough,
Randi Brough, Sheila DeWindt, Sherilyn Wolter, Barbara Horan, Judy
Landers, & Linda McCullough joined the cast as the "Seven Lady Truckers". |

Originally aired on Monday nights from October 1958 through July 1959 on
CBC in Canada, Paul Birch and William Campbell played the wise and
steady Mike "Cannonball" Malone and impetuous Jerry Austin on the half
hour series. Beth Lockerbie, Beth Morris, Steve Barringer, and Howard
Milsom were cast in supporting roles. The 39 episodes were also
rebroadcast in the United States, Australia, and Great Britain. |

Debuting on Saturday mornings in the fall of 1977 on NBC, the C.B. Bears
consisted of Hustle, Bump, and Boogie (voiced by Daws Butler, Henry
Corden & Chuck McCann) who fought crime from a rundown garbage truck.
The trio received their orders via a CB from Charlie (voiced by Susan
Davis). The Hanna-Barbera production ran for 13 episodes. |

Following the favorable response of the pilot entitled
In
Tandem, Movin' On ran on NBC with original episodes airing from September 1974 through
March 1976. Frank Converse & Claude Akins starred as law graduate Will
Chandler & independent trucker Sonny Pruitt in the adventure series. For the second
season, Roosevelt Grier & Art Metrano joined the series for the second season as Benjy
& Moose.
