Smokey And The Bandit

Directed by Hal Needham, the Academy Award nominated feature (1977, PG, Comedy, 1 hr. 40 min., Color) pits the Bandit (Burt Reynolds) & the Snowman (Jerry Reed) in a race against time to haul Coors from Texas to Georgia with Sheriff Buford T. Justice (Jackie Gleason) in hot pursuit.  Many car chases and smashups occur on the way.

Directed by  Hal Needham, Smokey and the Bandit II (1980, PG, Comedy 1 hr. 41 min., Color) sees the Bandit (Burt Reynolds) & the Snowman (Jerry Reed) pursued again by Sheriff Buford T. Justice (Jackie Gleason) in this sequel.

Directed by Dick Lowry, Smokey and the Bandit III (1983, PG, Comedy 1 hr. 27 min., Color) has Sheriff Buford T. Justice (Jackie Gleason) accepting a challenge to make a delivery from Miami to Texas for a quarter of million dollars.
