On February 17, 2009, the trucking channels of Sirius and XM combined their programming. While Bill Mack moved to Willie's Place on XM 13, Dave Nemo and Dale Sommers retained their time slots on XM 171. Marcia Campbell (formerly of the Interstate Radio Network) continues to host on weekend mornings. Mark Reddig also made the transition with his Landline Now program.
Prior to the consolidation of the country stations on the satellite services, XM 10 America was home to You're Truckin' With Country Dan an all request program hosted weeknights by the iconic Country Dan Dixon. Country Dan can now be heard Sunday nights on Willie's Place. |

Known as the Sirius Trucking Network from its inception in 2003, the trucker channel was re-lauched as the Road Dog Trucking Network in March of 2006. The Open Road Cafe with Mark Willis survived the transition.
One of the original programs from the relaunch, Hammerdown Radio with DJ RigRocker (Jeremy Tepper of Diesel Only Records) relocated to Outlaw Country only to be dropped in November 2008 after the consolidation of the country stations.
When the trucking channels combined their efforts, Freewheelin’ with Meredith Ochs and Chris T. as well as The Lockridge Report with Evan Lockridge could still be heard on Sirius 143. |
