Following the favorable response of the pilot entitled In Tandem, Movin' On ran on NBC with original episodes airing from September 1974 through March 1976. Frank Converse & Claude Akins starred as law graduate Will Chandler & independent trucker Sonny Pruitt respectively. The pair travelled in a 1974 W-925 Kenworth. For the second season, Roosevelt Grier & Art Metrano joined the series for the second season as Benjy & Moose. Merle Haggard sang the theme.
To date, the 44 hour long episodes of Movin' On have not been officially released on DVD.
